Jordan White is a guitarist, composer and live coder, originally from Orange, Australia, now in Weimar, Germany. In Jordan’s new solo project, “Who Needs Friends”, the laptop (with help from the programming language SuperCollider) becomes a somewhat independent duo partner, improvising drum beats and sonic processing – sometimes tasteful, sometimes childish.
