Schon vor dem offiziellen Beginn des Yiddish Summer Weimar beginnt Ende Juni das erste große Austauschprojekt mit Israel. Junge Sänger*innen des YSW und der Schola Cantorum aus Weimar sowie der Chor Voices of Peace des Arab-Jewish Community Center in Jaffa-Tel Aviv proben gemeinsam die Neuvertonungen Alan Berns zu den Gedichten für Kinder der jiddischen Dichterin Kadya Molodowsky. Wir möchten Euch die Gelegenheit geben, im OMAcafé die jungen Mitglieder des KADYA Jugendchores kennenzulernen und etwas über ihre bisherigen Reisen und gemeinsamen Aktivitäten zu erfahren.
Mit kleinen Kostproben des Repertoires und Berichten der Chormitglieder.
